Head out to camp to help with projects/improvements and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!
Camp Lowden Scouting Family is invited to help with Camp Lowden improvement workdays. Projects range from seasonal improvements, i.e., brush clearing, winterization, etc., to improvement projects such as trail clearing, painting, etc. Please pack your own food, wear appropriate clothing, and bring your water bottle. Contact Bob Gingras if you plan to attend for a head count.
Here are some of the projects we need your help with:
- Split & stack firewood
- Misc. painting around camp
- Minor repairs to various doors
- Pick up “bucked” wood around camp
- Re-position various RR ties
- R&R urinals at Explorer & Riverview campsites
- Repair power line to Highlander campsite
- Reinforce corner deck support at the Wienke Cabin
- Repair picnic tables
When: Saturday, October 24.
