New Scouts will have the opportunity to complete many of the Tenderfoot, 2nd and 1st Class requirements.
Hikers who complete the trail will receive the special Pilgrimage Patch at the Trading Post (Turner Hall).
Civil War Encampment
Tri-state Historical Presentations will put on a Civil War encampment on the weekend of April 26th through April 28th. Scouts and Scouters can see the life during the Civil War and what a camp would look like.
Also at 11:30am on April 27th there will be a mock Civil War battle held along the banks of the Galena River.
Participants compete with others to put out “the fire” by moving water using buckets (with holes!)
This is always a favorite activity of the youth who attend! (You will get wet, be prepared!)
