History of Wood Badge in Blackhawk Area Council |

After the 1971 camp season, the very first Wood Badge course was held in August at Camp Lowden.
It was a full-time course with Robert I. Walter as course director. Other Blackhawk staffers
were Russ Reimer and Hank Stewart. In that course were several from out-of-council, but council scouters included: |
